
Founder and Executive Director – Jill Armstrong
Jill Armstrong is the founder of The Children’s Institute for Humanity. Jill has a bachelors of Science degree in special education. She has over 25 years experience as a special education teacher working with a variety of age groups and exceptionalities. Her last ten years of teaching, she specialized in working with children at risk, implementing specialized programs that offered social and emotional support. In addition to her teaching experiences, she has worked with children in other various capacities. She has worked as a children’s advocate in an domestic abuse shelter, a migrant families, as well as mentored many children within the Big Brothers/ Big Sisters program. Jill has a deep respect for children, truly appreciating and enjoying the beauty within each individual child. Jill emanates an energy of openness and deep acceptance for all children. It has been her on going passion and goal to create programs that will integrate the three elements of the Heart, the Head, and the Hands when providing a high quality experience for children. In creating these programs it is at the heart of her intent, to educate the whole child by integrating moral and social awareness, with academic ability, and teaching activities that promote peace, respect, and love.
